How does Hi Yoga™ specifically appeal to kids?
Hi Yoga™ is only 15 minutes long; this is short enough to hold a child's attention, while keeping the enthusiasm high for future practice. The kids themselves are involved in creating the class with their suggestions. They also take great pleasure in teaching their parents as this builds confidence and enables secure bonding. Overall, the Hi Yoga™ steps are kid-tested for FUN!
Do kids get tired of the same Hi Yoga™ steps/sequence?
Kids respond very well to the soothing, healthy routine of Hi Yoga™. It helps kids feel safe to open up their minds and hearts to greater learning. Hi Yoga™ gives kids the experience of being calm and helps them understand the value of healthy habits. Research studies show that kids learn extremely well through repetition. Sesame Street, for example, was the first TV show to use repetition as a tool to help kids learn.
Are kids too young to understand Hi Yoga™?
Kids are born with a love of movement and Hi Yoga™ builds on that joy by helping them understand focused movement in a playful way. Research studies show how crucial movement is for a child's development. For example, their nervous system is strengthened which helps them feel more grounded and ready to learn. Hi Yoga™ uses focused movement to build a child's awareness and coordination.
